The Directors of Module-AR Limited are all passionate about Health & Safety and we continually seek to improve our safety performance. Corporate Social Responsibility and safety is of paramount importance to all of us at Module-AR. We see it as critical that our employees, and those who are affected by our activities, benefit from an incident-free environment. Working safely is integrated into our business strategy and we will ensure that our customers, supply chain, employees and the public benefit from our commitment to being safe. We have seen real success in recent years in the continuous improvement of our safety, health and environmental performance. To keep abreast of all aspects of Health & Safety Regulations, including compliance with the latest CDM Regulations (2015), we employ a dedicated SHEQ manager to carry out routine Health & Safety site inspections, provide quarterly SHEQ updates and audit our working practices.
Our Health & Safety Policy defines our procedures for managing Health & Safety throughout our business which includes both our manufacturing facility and site based activities. We use a range of tools including presentations, videos, fact sheets, posters and toolbox talks to ensure that a consistent message about being safe is communicated. Our strategy is based upon the following key principles:
We are committed to ensuring all our project & site managers hold, as a minimum, Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificates and all supervisors are accredited with a Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) certificate. It is a known fact that off-site construction offers a safer working environment than traditionally site-built structures. Our tried & tested building techniques are repetitive in terms of its structural design and the standard components we use - therefore minimising high, medium and low risk activity. A significant Health & Safety benefit is our factory operatives and tradesmen are not exposed to harsh weather conditions during the construction phase which traditionally built projects are. This in turn reduces Health & Safety risks with better control of safety measures which are easier to monitor.
Module-AR Limited will ensure all client and principal contractor directives are followed on site, helping us all to meet our environmental responsibilities. However in the absence of any information or procedures relating to environmental issues, the following policy will be followed.
Module-AR Limited are committed to eliminate or reduce the environmental impact as a result of their undertakings, so far as is reasonably practicable, by:
In addition, Module-AR Limited will recognise that efficient management of energy and resources in materials cuts cost and creates competitive advantages.
