Module-AR Limited have a fantastic reputation providing excellent customer service, we are Achilles RISQS accredited and along with this accreditation we have years of experience working with Network Rail on a range of projects across the UK. As a result of this, we were granted a contract to provide a 2 storey MDU (Maintenance Delivery Unit) Facility for the Network Rail Stratford location.

Consisting of 10 No. modules, the structure features a Locker room, Welfare Facilities, fully fitted Kitchen area with seating & tables, sinks, fridges & cupboards, Shower room, male & female WC's and a Drying room on the ground floor. Whereas on the first floor of the building there is a large open plan 81m² Office, a smaller separate Office, Circulation room and a Meeting room. An external enclosed steel staircase links the 2 floors.

The full building was designed in accordance with Network Rail "Best Practise Design Guide for MDU's" and as a result Plastisol (plastic coated steel) external walls, fascia and plinths were installed due to it being a cost-effective, maintenance free material with a long lifespan. To ensure a highly secure building, steel external multi point locking doors and UPVC lockable windows with external wire mesh window guards were fitted. The additional design features include an entrance door canopy, DDA Compliant external stairs & ramp, cream vertical blinds, standalone fire alarm & intruder alarm systems and Heat & Cool air conditioning.

2 days were all that was required for Module-AR Limited to install the Network Rail Stratford building, with a total completion date of 11 weeks. This short timescale is up to 50% faster than if the building was constructed traditionally on site.
